Gene Dorrel began his career at United Electric Cooperative, Inc. in February 1977, and was appointed general manager in April 1990. He currently serves on the board of directors of N.W. Electric Power Cooperative, is chairman of the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperative's Legislative and Government Relations Committee and is a member of Associated Electric Cooperative's Demand Side Management Energy Conservation Committee.
