General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Business Affairs Mark Ellison is the senior vice president, Business Affairs and General Counsel. He is responsible for working closely with NRTC’s senior leadership team, providing legal and strategic business advice and counsel on NRTC business ventures, opportunities and related matters. In his role as General Counsel, Ellison heads NRTC's legal department and manages the organization's relationships with outside counsel. Additionally, Ellison heads NRTC's industry relations and government affairs group. Prior to joining NRTC in June 2005, Ellison provided services to NRTC on a consulting basis through the firm of Hardy & Ellison, P.C., where he had been a partner for more than 12 years, representing clients in satellite, cable and Internet services. Ellison brings nearly 25 years of experience in media-related law and business to NRTC, serving in executive legal roles with such notable organizations as Primestar Satellite, the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association, Turner Broadcasting, and U.S. Telecom. Ellison received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Miami and is a member of the bars of Florida, Georgia and the District of Columbia. He also participates in the Federal Communications Bar Association and the American Corporate Counsel Association. <back> |
